Of course, we all want to look best at everything we do. Looking awesome tends to bring out the best in us. Whether at work or at play looking good brings out the competitive vibe and the feel-good attitude for a more productive and enjoyable time.
Here are a couple of tips to help you achieve that sexy yoga body look. For beginners like us, we were feeling self-conscious. Since we had so many questions on our first Yoga session, we did a bit of research. Whatever you choose to wear, whether it be a t-shirt, or a tank top as long as you’re comfortable (physically and emotionally), you’ll have a very fun and memorable time. It’s time to build the perfect Yoga Attire
It’s all about the movement
So that means you have to be prepared for all the stretching and twisting you’ll be doing. Your clothes should be able to handle all the movements you’ll be doing. Baggy shirts are fine, but wearing tight-fitting clothes is better. We learned that the hard way when our baggy shirt kept covering our faces during a certain pose. (Yes, downward dog! You made us laugh).
It’s ok to be cool
We’ve learned that the clothes we pick should need to breathable and has to quickly wick up the moisture/sweat. And trust me, you’re going to sweat a lot. Most sporting goods store would carry these breathable, quick-dry fabric clothes but it’s better if you know what you’re looking for, before going to the store.
For the bottoms, you can wear Yoga pants, tights, capri pants, even shorts (ideal length for the shorts would be at least knee-length to prevent from slipping from certain yoga poses or wear compression pants under.
For men, it’s easier for us since we can use pretty out training wear, our jersey’s, hoop shorts, compression pants/shorts, and yeah quick-drying fabrics, of course, we wouldn’t want our sweat weighing us down.
Here’s a suggestion for your awesome Yoga wear.

The right footwear goes a long way
We were encouraged to go barefoot so we can feel the floor and to better maintain our balance, but any shoe will do as long as it’s flexible and not bulky and is comfortable and breathable. We weren’t aware that were Yoga socks and Yoga shoes.
